Who Manages the CQS Program?

The Certification Program is independently managed by Global Trust Certification Ltd, an independent and accredited Third Party Certification Body.

Global Trust is a privately owned accreditation company with certification activities in over fifteen counties. Global Trust is accredited as being independent and an expert in salmon farming and production. Global Trust is owned by its management and staff and has no commercial affiliations or dependence upon the Salmon Industry apart from its role as a an independent Certification Body.

Global Trust takes its direction from the National Accreditation Board and an Independent Governance Board. 

The Consumer Association of Ireland chairs the Independence Governance Board that oversees the Certification Activity of the Certified Quality Salmon Program on an annual basis.
